Here are before and after photos of a custom mounted horizontal belt machine guard for a housing material manufacturer in the Northeast United States. They replaced a heavy OSHA non-compliant horizontal belt guard with a compliant mounted belt guard with a removable vented front access with inspection windows. The new machine guard allows maintenance quick and easy access to repair damaged belts without complete guard removable. The custom belt machine guard is also much lighter to reduce ergonomic soft tissue injuries. The customer plans to order the same machine guard to for another 4 locations.
